Fruit Feeder Gallery, Parque Estadual Intervales

Last weekend I visited Parque Estadual Intervales, perhaps the best montane Atlantic Forest site in Southeastern Brazil. Spending most of my time birding the trails and the Carmo Road, I did stop by the fruit feeder in front of the Pica-pau Lodge once on Sunday afternoon. Waves of mostly common but still spectacular birds passed through, until a male Chestnut-Backed Tanager appeared.  Tangara preciosa, indeed.
